My latest addiction - this song and green tea frap...

Joined Mizuno Wave Run 2009 and i lurved the run sooo much! It was the best run ever...Uphills and downhills
and the air is much easier to breathe compared to KL! THe standard chartered was darn tough...

Finished 16 in my category...but i shld have just run slower and get the shoe bag instead of the medal...

They should have given medal + shoe bag for the finishers instead of giving to the remaining runners...

Had lunch at Bangsar Shopping Centre last Friday and this place called "Stuff Your Face" or sthing like that...hahaha..located top floor of BSC..

Not bad place...our selection of food ...

Ramen in chicken broth...

Lamb stew...

Chicken tenders

Fish fillets....

Overall not bad place....but i think they should add more selections to their menu....

On a side note, DO NOT GO TO TENJI ANYMORE! Tenji @ Solaris, Mont Kiara sucks is not good anymore...

its more expensive and the selection is terribly bad...

Also, Betty's Cafe located at Jalan Raja Chulan is a no - no... Place sucks terribly and the cook is nothing special..

Just typical local food stuff....overrated...and poor customer service - no response from email enquiry, my as well dun put it up on the website then..

 Will update more on that later.

The Ugly Truth - fantastic
Gamer - Great show, touching and a bit scary how things would be in the future, if it were to happen..

Darn, im gonna miss my holiday mode..sleeping in late, eating late at nite, running at mid-morning, walking hazel at 3pm, endless movies, no worriess...no politics..

And yet again, tomorrow will be right at the doorstep...and yes, back to the real world...I sure do hope i get rewarded for all these drama, hard work im putting myself into...

But then again, im working towards my goal in life....yay!

What is that term for singing with ur throat again? Torso, nope, darn its been bugging me for-ever....

Up, since its trailer preview last few months had definitely caught my attention, no doubt about tat..I think lil Russell and his cute voice was one of the contributing factors....haha...The preview was during the "Ice Age 3" movie i watched with my nephews and parents....Lol..

And it came out on August 20th, which, sadly I wasn't able to watch on that exact day coz of work, work, work. BUT! i managed to watch it yesterday... And i must say, it was fantastic!...hhahaha...really really touching..how Mr. Fredriksen is sooo in lurveee with Ellie...and young Nagai did a great job with Russell's voice...omg, the way the expressions were drawn, it was super darn real...especially the part when Mr. Fredriksen was bending over to cut some of the balloons' strings and stressing on his knees...freaking good...

And Dug was a superbly cute little mutt! At first, he was kinda annoying, but the part where "I hid under your porch because I love you" gawwdddd....reminds me of Harry!!!! and hazel too...sigh.. and definitely caught me by surprise when they revealed what in the world was "the cone of shame" !!!! hahaha..

Fantastic movie...glad I decided to watch it 8 days after its launching in Malaysia...everyone shld watch this and make it a blockbuster! hahaha... I think most of the girls were like crying at the end of the movie... but the guys were mostly, hmm...just...the same.... hahaha...

Its gonna be a long weekend..yay!...even longer if i can get 1st September off, but i cant, apparently, im starting a new cycle on Tuesday itself in Zelan. Here we go again... Well, I had an interesting time looking at Harrods for about 3 weeks (which was rushing but yeah, we pulled through), and then just finished 2 weeks looking at HR stuffs (which was rushing again, but credits to us coz we pulled through!).

Haven been running these days...and im freaking gaining weight And worst thing is, next week i wont be around to run and the 10K run (which i was happily signing up for hmm..a few weeks back) which is in mid-October! Great, just great... coz I think ill probly faint or stop half way.. or worst, quarter way....*fingers crossing hopefully i don't* ....But yeah, i hope its nt gonna be tat bad... really need to buckle up and yes, get into top 20 or sthing, since this isnt some whole Msia kinda thing. Would be freaking bad if i dun finish this run.... plz plz let me finish.....argghh....

What do you define as being successful? Or rather, how do i know if im successful...even right now...at this point of time..where I am now...

I happen to stumble upon this girl I've seen in church, in one of the churches Ive visited a few years back.... she isn't young, neither is she old...but she was probly around my age, or mayb a year or two older...i think it was two years older than me... And jst found out that she is already married with a kid! Haha! yeah, shocking... not that she suddenly became a millionaire, but the fact that someone around this age, not bad looking - has a whole future ahead of her, is settled down with a baby! wow...just blows my mind off....

So that makes me wonder, is that successful? Is this considered success in the eyes of the world? Probly? Probly not... but what is being successful all about? Commercially, being successful is all about being financially wealthy, correct? But, If that's the case, she definitely failed being a success rite? I mean, its like, she chose the life of bringing up a kid instead of building a career in mid-20s....I mean, of coz, if she comes up with a brilliant business idea and then make it big, then yeah! successful she is....Perhaps..but will all the money in the world actually make one happy?

Hmmm....But being 'successful' shouldn't really be a generic kinda thing, where u can apply the 'required standards' across everyone, right? (wth am i doin talking like this, its so err 'work' kinda talking) Nway, i think its true what they say, that, Success is only a success according to what matters the most to someone, from within...Well it could be i.e. for one...settling down and bringing up / building up somebody's life, is considered a success... being able to mentor a younger human being and seeing him / her be a blessing to the world or at least, to the people around him / her IS a success.... Yeah. i think this would be great at some point of my life....

For some, to be well-known... Being famous in the eyes of the public IS success, in its own way... Sure, would be cool to be recognised when walking down Tesco or Mid Valley or 1U and having ppl to whisper around, clearly their eyes stuck on you (which means they certainly are talking about you! good stuff, probly coz you composed a really great catchy meaningful song or you appeared in some fashion magazine looking really hawt...Haha!) ...That could be success....that would be a nice thing to achieve...

For some, finding the right person in life to share all the ups and downs in life....That, is considered a success.... I mean, its great if you are married..but are u gonna be marrying the right person and will that person be the one you can trust, the one u can rely on, the one who would stick through thick and thin....They say that you shouldn't marry the one you can live with, but rather, the one you are sure you definitely CANNOT live without.... That's kinda hard to say rite....Lol.....Erm, yeah, would be fantastic and the best gift God can ever give to me, for this to achieve...

For some, it would having a career... probly a career which brings in a lotttt...freaking a lotttt of money...that, is success....Well, no doubt, money can buy a lotttt of things..I would lurveeee to have that too! haha...But will my job bring in millions of ringgit within the next 2-3 years? erm....doubt so... Need to probly start my own business to do that.... But im still trusting in Him to pull me through life's ups and downs...He brought us through many seasons of life, and Im sure He would be the one to provide for years to come too... But we still need to work hard and work smart to achieve 'financial freedom'..hahaha...terms i learnt from the CFP classes the last 2 years...AND I PASSED IT ALREADY!!! Thank you God for answering my prayers and thanks to all who prayed for me... Actually, i really wanna do sthing relating to music...but i dunno what... kinda sucks that i dun really know what i want at 23 years old....

But i met up with a fren recently who is doin insurance and he's earning like 5 figure salary, which is kinda impressive...but me selling insurance? Lol...I dun think i can actually do great in that... IDEA DISMISSED... lol...

So to sum it all up, i guess whatever I wrote (the last 10mins) is what i can think of as "success"... probly, these are what I would want to achieve someday...

Went to Desapark City for a day out with some new friends who love to click away their SLRs and whole lot of other types of cameras. Man, I’m pretty sure they invested a lot on those gadgets!

It was pretty cool, with Isaac and Isaias and Iden around the playground and of course Hazel was there with us! Would definitely include her in this, since it was at an open air park!

She was pretty cool about it. She ran around grass area and she definitely had fun! Even when we were having lunch / brunch; when I see her; I felt a sense of ‘satisfaction’ because she was there with us during events like this. Wish we could do more of day out event like this with her, just play around at the playground / park the whole morning, and by noon, sit down at some café (some pet-friendly café!). I must say there are not many cafes who allow pets in with the owners into the ‘air-conditioned’ areas. That is so rude and unfair! But anyways, we sat at the open air area.

I miss Harry! Wished he was around still. Photo-shoot again soon with Harry? *fingers crossed*

Monday blues, not very blue-ish… coz we spent some time out and had great egg-tarts for dinner! My ever favorite dish! And that day, we ordered Chinese pancakes for the fun of it! Talk bout having sweet tooth…we had a free lotus paste dessert thingy, thanks to Mastercard

Thursday late shopping....I COULDN FIND anything suitable except for this one..so i had to grab and go...nways, i hate last minute shopping.. seriously..u cant get anything nice and reasonable...just gotta settle for watever u can get that day....so yeah....

I definitely din look that thin.but i wish i did of coz...hahaha...the mirrors in changing rooms are alll FAKE! They make sure u look good so you can buy their clothes.....hahaha....tats y i seldom shop these days...

Okay..nways, that nite was ok...we ate a lot in Malacca...

On Sat, went to Jonkers Street for chendol...not bad..really thick syrup..

Then at nite, was the wedding dinner...

And on Sunday morning...all slept in late...and had Beef steamboat for lunch, after that pork satay and of coz the crepe.....

Stopped by at Nilai, thanks to him! for the green tea red bean bun...but it wasnt good news for me coz THEY FREAKIN STOP MAKING THE BUNS!!!! sighhh...

Reminiscence: Back then in Nilai, I dunno who found out bout this bakery shop...started goin there and my eyes caught Green Tea Red Bean (those words) and those buns..hhaha...

They usually make 2 packets in a day..

After trying them, i liked it so much tat after swimming every Tuesday and Thursday (if i go faithfully), ill definately drop by to 'whack' all 2 packets...and i can easily finish 1 packet in one seating..hahahahaha...tat explains all that extra kgs...hahahahah.a..but its fantastic..seriously..

So the shop aunty said they dun make it anymore since no one actually buys them...

like wth rite...within this 2 years of my absence, NO ONe, i repeat, not a single uni student actually bought that bread.....

So yeah, I din get my buns...

DARN!!

I always wished someone can bring me there to go get it...but looks like, it wont be possible anymoreeeee...like for the rest of my life..unless I learn how to make it....ahhahaha...yeah! i shld!

okay, next objective: Learn to make the buns that apparently have extinct....

Jess' pre birthday celebration, not exactly celebration, but basically just some time out to makan which is not just an hour...it was more than tat..hahaha..coz its buffet, so yeah, u gotta stay longer than an hour to be able to enjoy it to the fullest, no? lol...

nway, i would say Tenji is much better than Jogoya now...and better than Daidomon, since after eating Tenji, i din puke....hahahaha!!

Apparently, this is kinda not nice.. ...so this would be the last time im wearing this dress...off you go...

Long island tea instead of margarita...better choice but kinda strong...apparently better island tea at TGIFs? hahaha...but i dun really like TGIF, prefer Chillis.....

Tiring day..i think ive been saying that a lot...but i seriously feel that a lot!

I need a rest..head's aching and gonna be super bz this whole month, again! gosh, can i have some time out to chill, like maybe for a month or ok ok..probly at least 1 week....

Nway thank God my day's this month...at least sthing nice to look forward to...haha..since there ain't no holiday this whole month!!! Looking forward to public holidays soon...hahaha...

Was told not to see harry for his sake...I mean, what is he suppose to think if i go visit him all of a sudden and he realizes he has not been seeing me...and that he would probly be confused wth is goin on with me not being around and him having 4 kids to play with him...hmm...really wanna go secretly see him from afar..but that's kinda weird and stalk-ish rite...

I hope he is having a time of his life lar...i really do... I doubt there is even a slightest chance of getting him back for my bday or anything....UNLESS i get married now and bring him back...hahhahahahahaha.....yeah..rite...

Hazel with lil grumpy...hahahaha...rmbr him...back then before leaving for melb...sweeetttttt **

Alrite, i think ill look super horrible if my pics were to appear on anything for the KL Marathon run this morning. Basically i reached super early (to avoid the previous mishap..haha..was not able to go for the BHP Orange Run coz the the auto gate was spoilt...lol)..nway, yeah the q for toilet was super long and it was dirty..Nway, started at 7am and I finished at 8.03 or 8.05am..i forgot...i din time myself...I know! I know! coz i was relying on the DAG system. Nway, the whole run was exhausting! considering i haven ran the last 3 - 4 weeks...nway, this time, i felt i was nt really pushing myself...was kinda afraid ill overexert myself (coz i dun think i can take MC tomorrow). And there were so many uphills!!! OMG, i wanted to stop there and then! but i din lar..hahaha...the last 3km was the killa...ppl were overtaking and i tried to run faster...but of coz, as expected, i can't really do much...I could have done better than this..the last time was less than 1hour.

Gonna have to wait til Tuesday, atleast to find out my placing....hahahahhaha...

The funny thing is during the whole course, i told myself "jess, wth did u get urself into??!" hahaha...the last time also, i asked myself tat...but its the feeling I get when i cross the finishing line.....awesome...especially when there is someone racing against you towards the ending line and then u realize u have to push urself...and THEN you win...haha..but it din happen this time...i mean, there were some other guys around but i din really care...all i care was if there are other girls catching up from behind...hahahahaha....

Damn kiasu i feel... haha... but i din win top 3..so s'okay....just crossing my fingers that im top 10 ...haha..mayb top 20 at least....

Megan Fox is super hawt in Transformers 2.. I think she should have been the hero in the movie instead of Shia LB.

And Optimus Prime is sooo cool..each time the whole autobots team travel together on the highway...haha..tatz the best part of the entire movie...

Finally, time to breathe a bit...haha....been 3 consecutive weeks of endless things to do... i mean, there are still stuffs, but its gonna be a lil' less hectic? haha...Tats wat we think, but then again, never know til next week...

Im gonna be catching up with 90210 (omg, its been soooo long), all the movies ive missed during my pre-exam week + last 3 weeks (i know i wanna watch Angels & Demons, Terminator, Confessions, oh Fired Up and i think ghost of girlfriend's past shld be comin up soon).

Kay, since i din even run for the past 3-4 weeks....i dunno if ill be able to make it tomorrow...Hopefully hopefully just hopefully im still up for it...And yeah, its a 10K thingy coz i was kinda doubtful if i can do a half marathon....the last time i did that was in college....haahhaahahaa...so signed up for the 10K instead since i dun wanna end up straining myself. I hope i dun finish last, tatz all....

Yes, Im still at work at 115am in Hotel Sri Malaysia, Seremban...

Looking back, I think I have been really complaining a lot about work. But upon each new assignment allocated to me, i realize that the previous jobs were much much much more simpler and easier to handle compared to the newer ones.

1st tough job: Engineering and construction company: Doin up a new process which was never done previously. Worked long hours bt not allowed to claim overtime due to recession (yeah, like )

2nd tough job: Oil & gas company: Doin a relatively new assignment (not auditing) which is totally new and foreign to me. Worked at home. But manage to spend 10 days in Perth with my mom and sis and after that suffered 2 weeks of stress from the workload handed over.

3rd tough job: Media and technology company: Doin a new company altogether, never been done previously. Took up the technical and customer service processes BUT had good times with the team and client was superbly friendly and nice and generous...lol...

Current toughest job: Manufacturing company: Doin a new company altogether, never been done previously. Taking up the procurement and stock management processes. Dying meantime trying to understand and finding ways to improve the processes and trying v. hard to be value adding at the same time. Working super duper late and being away from home adding up the potential stress level faced since beginning of the year.

Wow...i just ranted bout my work on my personal blog. HaHa. BUT, the point of this all is, i think i have failed to appreciate things around me at present time and only know how to complain when facing it. But if I were to look back, things were much easier previously compared to right now. So yeah, since exam's over, I need to step up and omg, Im about to take over a few other testings from another. Nway, what was I saying...yeah, dun complain....everything happens for a reason and if its given to you, do it to your best...ILL TRY! But no promises....

Okay, at least I feel much better now. Now back to finishin up my work past 1am! OMG...

Right...and since im away from home, haven been able to do a lot of things and 10k run is comin up in a week's time! OMG again!! woah..seriously... I need to de-stress this weekend (that is if i can)...
